History of Innovative Concepts

Innovative Concepts was planted out of Grace Bible Church in January 2003. Pastor Daven and Barbie Hee along with a team of 40 college and young adults started by meeting on Sunday afternoons in a school auditorium.

Today we have multiple services that cater to more than 120 people in different meeting locations and at various times throughout the week. In keeping with our innovative nature, our services meet in unconventional places such as restaurants, lounges, and corporate offices. Meeting in places like these allows us to support local businesses and contribute to a thriving economy that can continue to provide jobs to our community.

Through the generosity of our members, we have been able to extend our reach beyond Hawaii by sending many young adults around the country to help other churches pursue their God-given destiny. Pastor Daven and Barbie have always been and still are committed to building a generation of leaders that embody integrity, compassion, and humility.
